FAQ - Frequently Asked QuestionsShould I use laser or continuous forms?One of the dilemmas that businesses have today is whether to use laser or continuous forms. Often, today's new programs do not have the drivers to allow you to print anything other than a laser form. In that case, the decision has already been made for you. Furthermore, laser printer sales dominate the market and they offer utility for other purposes that dot matrix printers don't offer. Thus, a new business in particular will opt for laser forms. Laser forms are easy and convenient to use and do not require dedicated printers as often was the case for printing continuous cheques. Often, if a company using continuous cheques needed a cheque printed for a one time charge, a manual cheque was written because it was easier and quicker at the time. As a result, cheque numbering sequences were interrupted, the manual cheques had to be entered later in the computer and bank reconciliation was more difficult. Laser forms also give a nicer finished product and enhance a company's image. However, it may be more to your advantage to use continuous forms, depending on the type of business you will be operating.
