1. Introduction

The September 2nd deadline has passed for the CPA bank specifications and I am happy to say almost all Print Pro customers have their new cheques. Some banks have quickly moved forward to move to the next step in the process which is to no longer return cheques and provide an image statement in monthly bank statements. Other banks do not have all their equipment in place to enforce the changes but you should see this happening over the next several months.

In this issue, I am announcing that we now offer a full line of promotional products such as pens mugs, memo pads, jackets, hats and cloth bags and literally thousands of other items that your logo can be printed on. See Promotional Products.

Holiday Greeting Cards

It’s that time of year again and we are carrying the 2 colour raised print BCT cards and cards from the Holiday Greetings Collection. The raised print cards are bright and crisp with a range of whimsical and classic designs which are very reasonably priced and can be produced very quickly. The cards in the Holiday Greetings Collection are more elegant and have been our most popular cards. Many of the cards are printed in 4 colour process and with embossed designs. Promotional Products

About 2 years ago, I started offering promotional products but the arrangement I had didn’t pan out and I moved away from this. I am often asked for these types of products and feel that printing your logo on just about anything makes a lot of sense given that we already do that with your cheques, printed stationery and other business forms. I am pleased that I have made an arrangement with a local promotional products company to supply these products. This company, Clearview Promotions is owned by Robert Gaede. Robert and I have known each other for a number of years and worked with each other when we were members of the Halifax Chamber of Commerce Small Business Committee. You can click on the Clearview Promotions logo to search for thousands of promotional products. This is the time of year when many businesses are turning to these products as year end incentives, appreciation or rewards to their customers and employees. If there are any products you are interested in, email to me the SKU #’s you have found. Green Line - The environmentally responsible self inking stamp

I am proud to introduce Green Line to our rubber stamp line up. Re-inkable for extended life and less waste, Greenline Self inking stamps use environmentally responsible water based inks. Replacement pads using these inks are also available. Made from post-consumer recycled plastic content, the 2000Plus Printer Line is made of 80% recycled plastic. Packaging material is 100 recylced unbleached paper fiber.
